CANADIAN IMMIGRATION

Canada is regularly voted one of the best countries in the world to live in.  For that reason alone many people migrate to Canada on a regular basis from all over the world.  Between 1991-1996, over 1 million people have migrated to Canada.  Projections for Canada's future population show that number increasing in the next decade.  For facts and information about Canada, click here.
Can anyone come here?  The answer, quite simply, is no.  As of June 28, 2002, Canada has new immigration criteria (Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA)) and has some of its immigration policies.  Although each case is reviewed on an individual basis, there are certain things that make you more likely to be allowed to legally migrate to Canada.
Migration to Canada is broken up into 3 main areas:

Skilled Worker Class -skilled workers are people whose education and work experience will help them find work and make a home for themselves as permanent residents in Canada
Business Class
- business immigrants are people who can invest in, or start businesses in Canada and are expected to support the development of a strong and prosperous Canadian economy

Family Class- Canadian citizens and permanent residents living in Canada, 18 years of age or older, may sponsor close relatives or family members who want to become permanent residents of Canada
